Over the past several years, the population of students attending school from kindergarten to 12th grade has decreased in El Salvador. The country’s Ministry of Education (MINED) worked with us to identify and quantify the factors affecting students who are likely to drop out to influence policy making, and coordinate with other branches of government to improve the impact of social programs in those schools that are more vulnerable.
